6th Annual Breast Cancer Fundraiser October 19, 2016

Think Pink! Every October, the staff at US Healthcare Supply come together as a team to raise money and awareness for breast cancer research, and this October was no exception. Over the past 5 years, US Healthcare Supply, located in Milford, NJ, has organized annual company events to raise money for breast cancer research through various fundraising initiatives, such as, employee bake sales, tricky trays and raffles. Local merchants in Milford also got involved and supported the cause with donations. This has been our most successful year to date, and we doubled the amount of money we raised from last year. Each year, Jon P. Letko, CEO and President of US Healthcare Supply matches every dollar that is raised during the fundraiser and this year the total raised was over $10,000!

US Healthcare Supply will continue efforts to raise money and awareness for breast cancer research. This devastating disease impacts so many. According to the National Breast Cancer Association, it is estimated that 1 woman will be diagnosed with breast cancer every 2 minutes. That equates to 246,000 women in the United States will be diagnosed per year. That’s an alarming statistic and it’s one that impacts Letko. At a young age, Letko lost his mother to breast cancer. In her honor, the Letko family has joined in the fight against this disease in the hopes of one day finding a cure.

US Healthcare Supply donates all of the proceeds they collect to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, This organization uses 91 cents of every dollar donated toward funding cancer research and awareness programs. To date, US Healthcare Supply has raised $27,405.56 for breast cancer research.

US Healthcare Supply would like to thank their staff as well as the merchants in Milford for the incredible amount of support they received for this event. Special thanks to Walmart, Phillipsburg, NJ, ShopRite of Greenwich and Dunkin Donuts for generously donating prizes, treats and decorations. The Letko family and staff at US Healthcare appreciate all the generous donations received for the fight against breast cancer and look forward to make next year’s Think Pink event an even greater success!

Milford Alive September 22, 2016

Milford Alive is just about here! On September 24, 2016 the town of Milford will come alive with a free community event filled with street music, art, food, entertainment, crafts, demonstrations and the infamous “bed race”. The event is topped off with a spectactular fireworks display at night.

Jon Letko, president of US Healthcare Supply and local business owner in Milford is excited and proud to sponsor and support this event. “We moved our business to Milford 5 years ago to this picturesque town right along the Delaware. It’s amazing to see the way the town is transformed in one day for such and incredible and hugely successful event.”

This year, Milford Alive committee has also been working hard to get “Millie the train” as part of the festivities. Millie was a train that serviced the Milford area for nearly 75 years. As part of the Rail Improvement Project, Millie is being restored and will hopefully make her debut at Milford Alive and be available for train rides.

US Healthcare Supply LLC
to purchase Master Electronic
Secure Lockbox for Milford July 2016

US Healthcare Supply LLC, is proud to support the Milford Fire Company and the town of Milford by purchasing a Master Electronic Secure Lockbox for the borough.

To keep our town and local businesses safe from any potential hazards, the Milford Fire Prevention Ordinance requires certain commercial facilities to install a secure lockbox on the exterior of the building.

The premise secure lockbox would contain keys to the main door, as well as any codes required to reset the buildings fire alarm or security system.

To ensure the security of local businesses, the Milford Fire Company will use a Master Key Secure KNOX BOX as a controlled electronic solution for all premises lockboxes. This Master KNOX BOX would only be accessed in case of an emergency by officers of the Milford Fire Company, during times where many of the town's buildings are unoccupied (e.g. nights and weekends).

This would enable the Milford Fire Company to gain access quickly to the building in the event of an emergency or alarm when the building is unoccupied. This will help to minimize any unnecessary damage to properties in the case of false alarms.

US Healthcare Supply will cover the cost of this level of central security, as well as installing premises lockboxes on its Milford facilities in accordance with the local ordinance.

The overall KNOX BOX program will provide comfort to residents and business owners in Milford, knowing that their businesses will be secure and protected.

Let’s Get Moving Milford!5/14/14

US Healthcare Supply announces the kickoff of its “Let’s Get Moving Milford” campaign. Let’s Get Moving Milford, initiated by Jon Letko, owner and CEO of US Healthcare Supply, is aimed to encourage members of the community to get moving and get active.

Letko has set out on this mission to encourage activity and a healthy lifestyle after watching his father suffer through a painful hip replacement surgery. The surgery and recovery were difficult, and he faced months of extensive rehabilitation. Inspired by his father’s recent health issues, Letko’s vision is to educate the community about the many benefits of a healthy lifestyle and to motivate everyone to get moving! “There is no better way than to start with the children of our community, to teach them about the benefits of making healthy food choices and being active. Starting that as early as possible will enable our children to live healthy and happy lives,” says Letko.

As the warm summer months are upon us, Letko wants to encourage kids of all ages to be more active and get outside with their families, siblings, parents and grandparents, and enjoy a happy, healthy and active lifestyle.
